Message to EPISD Re: Kyle Cox

This is a message to all the stuffed suits up at the district offices of EPISD.

Kyle Cox needs to be able to participate in activities that his classmates get to participate in. Stop hiding behind ignorant definitions and even more ignorant staff and administrators that don't want this kid to go just because its a little more work for someone.

God forbid that.

Seriously, can you look yourselves in the mirror and feel good about excluding a kid who wants a chance to do stuff with the rest of his class? He doesn't have the ability to run, jump, and play with his classmates because of his circumstance and no one can change that right now. But you people have the power to let him participate in a function WITH his classmates that will enrich his life.

You people get off your ass and do the right thing damn it.

Those in the position to do good for someone else have a responsibility to do it.

You reacted without getting the whole story. Kyle Cox was MORE than welcome on the trip. The trip is NOT an EPISD trip. Kyle's mother had some reservations and asked for an extention on the deadline to decide whether Kyle would go or not. The TOUR company gave her several extentions and then had to have an answer. She refused to answer hence she made the decision.

You really need to look at the facts before just assuming that every press release is factual.

Mando, kiss my ass you little bitch. I bet you'd never say jack shit in person. I hate little fucks like you. BTW, I am paying you dick. You should know what you are talking about before you open your mouth.

There is nothing accurate in the comment by the person hiding behind "anonymous." And no friend of Kyle's would report such erroneous information regarding him - hence the signature line is even a lie!

Sorry Kyle's mom. Every single thing I said is true. You are the liar. You have issues. Notice none of the media covered your stagged protest today? That is because they did their homework and know the facts. I am Kyle's friend. You are not.

Your church?
The Country Club?
The 2007 thing?
Now EPISD et al?
Sun Travel?

Time to look in the mirror and deal with your real problem.

You are right, I'm not Kyle's friend - I'm his mother. This is the most cherished role a woman can hold. That also makes me his protector, a role I am having to play right now.

Kyle just read this and says he doesn't have any friends like you. He may define friend differently than you. Let's not be cowards and hide behind "anonymous" - if you believe you are being truthful, reveal your identity.

The disability community planned the demonstration while I was out of town and I believe they did an admiraable job, especially considering how difficult it is for many with disabilities to get around and use public transportation. They did have media coverage, perhaps you missed it.

Please be more clear as to what your list means. Other than trying to uphold the scriptural values I was entrusted with as a leader in a previous church, I don't know what the rest of your list means. I've never been a member of a country club, and there's no 2007 thing. There's also no current or past issues with Sun Travel, the company my great-grandfather financed and my grandmother founded. You must have been given erroneous information.

If you'd like to email me, I have backup for my position regarding this issue with my son. I'd also be happy to meet with you in person to go over this or any other concerns you may have. Let's approach the mirror together!

The good news is that Kyle WILL be going on the trip. I hope that even a "friend" such as you can rejoice in that.

Please remove my post. I decided I don't want to argue with Kyle's mom. Thanks

No, first you were a coward and didn't post your name, which is clearly a violation of my comment policy, which makes you either too stupid to comprehend what you are reading or you wanted to be an ass and hide behind "anonymous". You made your bed, now you lie in it. You called her a liar and she called you are your bullshit. I say bravo to Kyle's mom for setting the record straight and you should have some back bone to stand behind what you wrote.

Actually Jaime, you're the idiot. You posted it even though it was anonymous. Nothing gets posted here unless you read it, approve it and then click it onto your blog.

Now I see why everyone calls you an idiot wanna-be. Have you talked to EPISD about this issue? Have you talked to the sponser and other parents? No, you just repost a press release at face value and then reply to it as though it is true. How stupid. You also cuss people out here using very foul language. That's real nice when you know a 13 year old kid is reading and writing on this blog.

Captain Morgan, you are once again speaking about something without knowing the facts. I did speak to the district about it. I spoke to Dr. Garcia and a couple board members. The district ended up doing the right thing, so there you go.

As for me cussing someone out, it is a little frustrating dealing with stupid people sometimes and there was probably a better way of dealing with it. So my bad.

However, you have the right to NOT read my blog. If you don't like it, don't read it. No one is forcing you to do so.

EPISD can NOT use funds for a private trip so they did not "do the right thing". Their hands were legally tide. You do not know who ended up paying for the trip because there is a gag order in place. My guess is that the tour company ate the cost to avoid an expensive and lengthy law suit.
