A Tangled Web

If you haven't read this article by the El Paso Times then stop what you are doing and do so.

This is the kind of stuff that should infuriate people but doesn't piss enough of you off.

All of you crazies that were pissed at what you believe was a "cover-up" in the ballpark process should be the loudest ones crying foul here. Because whats worse than government withholding information?

Government lying to you.

And there's no two ways about it, that is what happened when multiple city officials said something they KNEW not to be true, that the humps in Humpgate weren't paid with the money they initially said they were.

When you say something you know to be untrue, its a lie. Period. There's no ambiguity here.

They lied to the public. They have destroyed the trust in local government. If the paper called for Romero's resignation, rightfully so if you ask me, then they should also be calling for the resignation of every city official that went on the record with something they knew to be a lie.

Happy New Year! Jedi Cats was awesome, but there's been an undeniable feline-less flaw present in 2016.
